Labor Day. Remembering a VERY special Sept. 3.

This year Labor Day coincides with Elijah's 15th birthday!!

So we will enjoy a day off of school work and some additional family time celebrating Eli's life.

We will play at least part of a game of RISK, play some computer games and open a few gifts.

Meal: will make flour tortillas for tacos and corn casserole for supper and a chocolate cake.

I'm sure he will end today reading.

On Eli's schedule for the USA: traveling with the family to share about the work in Haiti, part one of Michigan's driver's education, PSAT testing, hunting, spending Engineering Day at Calvin and more!

Eli works hard, thinks deep and enjoys laughing [often accompanied by a mischievous twinkle in his eye]. We are thankful that the Lord picked our family for him.

We will end the month celebrating his birthday in Michigan with our families. In 3 weeks we head North. So this month we will work to prepare for the trip, firm up the plans for the 2 months in the USA, and finish up some projects around the compound.

Happy Birthday Elijah!

When you are in town, let me know if you would like to tour a machine tool shop. I could show you some engineering drawings, high speed milling machines, electrical discharge machines, etc.

Have a great day and see you all soon.
