Five Years at Fauche!

Five years ago brown grass on campus greeted us but rain soon followed causing our new neighbors to comment that the Lord was blessing us.

We do feel blessed in our 'new' location. I remember the big truck being unloaded in about 10 minutes-because of the threat of rain everyone just grabbled stuff, and dumped it in the house anywhere they could find.

Complicating this picture is that a few of the boxes and action packers did not fit in trucks so at the boat dock they were unpacked and the small stuff pushed into any available spaces.

The only thing I accomplished 5 years ago after a night in a truck on the dock was to find the sheets, set up beds for us and the 2 guys who helped drive and eat the nice meal that had been prepared for us.

I like our house. I like our yard. I like our neighbors. I like the mountains and river. I like homeschooling and having family time. I like that Cory spends time most days in the gardens. I like our small but healthy church. I like living in the country again and not in the middle of a city. I like it that our children have friends on campus. I like having time to work on books and read books. I like my life.

Thank you Lord.
Yes Anna's standing on higher ground than Eli.
