21 March

A fairly quiet weekend around this part of Haiti. The folks report that the voting was mostly calm. Helicopters continue to buzz by now and then today. Reports indicate that the first results should be out around March 31.

Kid's club noise filled the air yesterday afternoon but few school noises today as the morning started out with a few sprinkles.

Our biggest issue this weekend ended up being loss of Internet. We're thankfully able to down load and be on the internet a little today because of the generosity of the Compassion folks letting us use their dial up system. So if I'm not here as much for the next few days you'll know why. A technician from Port may need to visit as it maybe that one part of our system has died.

So glad the election went peacefully. Wish the rest of the world were peaceful, today.

looked out for details of Haiti's elections and was grateful not to see much violence reported. Hope your internet hassles are sorted soon.
