The fellows finished framing the roof of the gazebo this morning and this afternoon began the process of putting on the steel roof. It has been a project that has been a challenge. We found out that Gene had a "wish" of building a gazebo, and I think that this one more than fulfilled his dreams. The gazebo is looking good and we have many interested people coming by to check it out. It was another wonderful day for the weather. I think the Lord knew we would need these nice days for the roofing project.
Welcome. May you get a clearer picture of our ministry, prayer needs, & impact. Cory, Kris, Eli, Anna & Fritzlin

Feb. 23
Today was a day of remembering. Kris and the children had school and let's just say there have been better days. I took over teaching Anna, after I finished varnishing and remembered what school was like many years ago when I taught Kris and Todd when we lived on LaGonave. Each day that Kris and I had school, it started with tears and prayer. And, I am sorry to say, we probably had more difficult days than good ones. BUT, there were blessings in disguise. It was in school, that Kris first accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. It was in school, that I first began to really get an insight into the learning challenges that Kris was facing. Because of the time I spent with Kris in the classroom, I had a much better understanding of how to help her when we returned home. I am thankful for the time on LaGonave that I spent with my children.
