We have an opportunity this Wednesday night at 7pm to stand with our friends and the people of Haiti. The good folks of Celebration Cinema, South has offered their theater for a one time, Grand Rapids premier of Bagay Dwol (Strange Things) the true account of orphaned children in Haiti. The movie was filmed prior to the earthquake, but it gives viewers the opportunity to see how difficult live is for children orphaned and without chance for home, food, or an education. The movie estimated that there were about 500,000 street children at the time Bagay Dwol was filmed.

Following the movie there will be a short 15 minute discussion on the relief efforts in Haiti with opportunity for questions and answers. the evening will close with a short reflection as we share in our common trust in God and faith in prayer with the people of Haiti.

We invite you to come and be a part of this evening's event, and to stand with us knowing that " with God's Grace, Haiti will rise."
