Visit to both Great Grandparents.
Went to Grand Rapids Art Prize with both sets of Grandparents.
Saw an American football game [as the rest of
the world knows football=soccer]
Saw Lyric run cross country.
Visited our friends in South Bend Indiana at Sonlight. Sorry I didn't look at the clock but thankful that they forgave me.
[First in line! Cap Haitian airport last Monday]
Today we're off to the Thede cottage to overnight and celebrate Cory's birthday tomorrow. Enjoying the reds, oranges, and yellows of the fall leaves.
While I'm thankful for all we have I'm very aware of the millions who do not. The tents and tarps sent to Haiti in February are now disintegrating. Tropical heat, sun, use 24/7 not to mention the bugs and rodents all add to a short life span for plastics and cloth.
Please don't forget to pray for these dear people. That those in charge act in great wisdom and knowledge WITH the Haitian people and leadership so that the greatest number of people can be help efficiently and in a manner that will truly help and not hurt the country in the long run.
Pray for the school year that started last week/this week for children of Haiti. Pray for the thousands of kids who don't have the chance to attend school. Pray for their health and welfare.
Thank you.

First of all, Love Anna's short hair.
Second of all, it always hurts to be enjoying all these great blessings and yet have the knowledge of so many who don't have them. Even reading about it gives me that familiar twinge I hate to feel but need to. Remembering to pray.
And Happy b-day Cory!
