May 16 Plants, ground cloth, our kids.

Eli's learning in school about China and her history. So they tried their hand at using a ink stone and some Chinese characters.

Anna spent part of her Saturday practicing some volleyball, playing with friends and catching chickens. Chickens who need to be eaten so that they can no longer wander into Cory's garden.

Cory wasted no time putting his new ground cloth into use. This will prevent the grubs from coming up into the pots from the ground. The plant nursery organization occurred with the placing of plants on the cloth-also preparing for the hot summer.

The bigger trees provide shade and the location can be watered with a long hose.

Wednesday a family walk ended up including a hike up to our nearest cell tower. From the ridge top we can see our valley and the Limbe valley. While the hillsides remain green due to a few short showers, a good long slow rain would be appreciated.

John Pierre shows the new hands [groups] of banana's forming on his disease resistant plant that Cory purchased in Feb.

This tree has no disease, it grew vigorously and looks like it will be a high yield plant.

Eli drew some of them as they shared a paper. It has been to hot to talk ourselves into making spring rolls so not really. May need to wait until we're in the USA

Your kids are getting an educational experienced that could not be matched back at home here. What awesome opportunities!
