Last day of March and I have spent most of the day at the computer. We had a visit from Pastor Dan our field director this weekend and I received some homework.
One thing you'll notice is the blog has changed a bit. I have been asked to start a medical blog mostly to inform people who are interested in attending a celebration of 50 years of Medical ministry on LaGonave. While setting up this second blog I learned how to allow you to pick the blogs you view by topic as well as adding a couple links of interest.
I haven't yet had a chance to download the photos from the weekend-sorry. There were meetings and on Saturday we were joined by 8 pastors for lunch. Cory gave them a chance to try his Roselle juice. Cory then went to the marriage of Junior his garden helper, which was held in the building that is still being worked on to convert it to a guest house.
On Sunday we visited a new church for us in Limbee with Pastor Dan.
Sunday afternoon Pastor Dan and I headed for Cap Haitian for a "1 hour" hospital committee meeting that lasted from 3:30 to 6 pm. We hadn't had a meeting since late January and had many things to talk about. We returned to Fauche in the dark but thankfully it wasn't raining. We didn't have rain last night which was good as Pastor Dan headed out at 4:30.
We have had over 10 inches of rain this week.
