During the day the new ER/OB location was painted for the first time and some of the equipment given 2nd or 3rd coats. The screen door was removed and repaired. The curtains were worked on but this was limited by low battery power. The goverment power hasn't been on much the last couple days.
Cory spent the day near the school as it was his day to drive for carpool. He was able to pick up some small plastic bags. He had already picked up about 10 pounds of popcorn for movie night.

Anticipation was high for movie night. Most of the people in the area have only ever seen the Jesus film. One of the team brough the DVD series Planet Earth. There are only domesticated animals in the area so the teachers and preachers saw this as a good educational opportunity for the school children.
They wanted to see monkeys and sea creatures. A large room was set up full of benches and a sheet over a blackboard. One hundred and ninety bags of popcorn were prepared by the team but we ran out of popcorn. First come first serve.

The biggest reactions were for the monkeys, snakes, sharks and the photos of large numbers of animals. Very few people have T.V's and the shows they would watch would be news, soccer or music videos. The teachers had already asked us to make this a regular event.
