Happy Agricultural Day.

With protests called for in Port-au-Prince today and then next 7 days we ask for prayer.

Feelings like this echo again through our home and hearts.

So let us focus on the positives.

The last two nights we've received a total of 1 inch of rain that was badly needed for the newly planted beans and other trees and veggies.

Cory plans to speak several times in the next week on agricultural topics and hang out with like minded folks!

I also get a spot for a short devotional and to talk about medicinal plants.

When I think of our years together what strikes me is all the other stuff he does: office work, mechanic, driver, editor, listening ear, financier, accountant, shopper, principal, boss, teacher, speaker... and so much more.

Cory's good at what he puts his mind to yet his heart remains with trees and growing things.

When he does get to work or play in the dirt he has faced many obstacles: heat, rocks, grubs, poor soil, no soil, nematodes, slugs, lack of rain, to much rain, harsh sun, salt, hurricanes, goats, cows, chickens, people, lack of time, mold, mildew, bugs, birds, lack of land, lack of fence...

I enjoy and am looking forward to seeing Cory share his hard earned knowledge passionately with those at the conference next week.

He also generously shares plants, seeds, cuttings, books, and produce when ever he can spreading the Lord's blessings, giving from what he has been given.

Adam was a gardener, Cory likes to point out. I'm very thankful for Cory and his ministry.

Know the Lord has used him to bear good fruit for the Kingdom.

Thank you for letting me share about my guy.

Thank you to those who pray for him.

Thank you for those who pray for Haiti and the work here.

Keep it up!
