April 24... Spring gratitude

Sorry for the blog delay, we wrote an e-mail update at the beginning of the week and didn't think about the blog.

If any of you do not get the update and would like to, please let us know and we'd be happy to add your address or Email to the list.

Thankful for a few nights of sprinkles that added up to over an inch of rain this week.

The fields of beans now stand a few inches high and they needed the rain badly.

Thankful we can share children's books with the Agape kids after we worship on Sundays.

Thankful for good books that stimulate and expand the mind and imaginations.

Thankful for prayers and the ability to join with our friends in praying for their concerns and needs.

Thankful for tickets to head to our Global Partner's area retreat the end of June and then up to Michigan for some family and partnership development time.

Thankful to share with the school down the road on Friday: a few agricultural plans; ways to reduce stress; wearing hats with a bill to protect against cataract formation; avoiding loud noises to protect hearing; stop-drop-roll; and Heimlich maneuver.

Thankful there were books to be gifted.   We were asked to add a few encouraging words, a verse, and sign books to be gifted to the school children.

Some received Konsey II and if a sibling already received one then the Creole version of "Farming in a Way That Honors God and Gives the Poor Hope" was gifted.

Thankful for pond progress.

Thankful for a large variety of flowers and the buzzy bees.

Thankful for working internet so we can connect with Eli, Anna, and family.
