Joined by a great child care team who watched the younger children during the parent's meetings, played, taught and loved on our children.
Tim, Global Partner's director of Missionary Care and Development spent time with each of us during the week as well as sharing with the group.
Becca, a special young lady, recently started working with GP specifically to work with the missionary children.
We know her family from back during our training in 2003 and partner with them in prayer.
Connecting with her again as well as with the rest of the team and new folks remains the highlight of our week.
Meetings discussing issues that that will help us to increase our impact and effectiveness alternated with time for each missionary to share about their ministry.
I especially appreciate this time as I know now better how to pray for each person and their work.
Good fellowship, good food, fun and learning….hard to beat.
Please continue to pray for the missionary team.
Prayer is powerful and little if anything of eternal value can occur without prayer.
The Port-au-Prince missionaries did experience Chikungunya.
Most of us did get at least a few mosquito bites during the week and some, despite bug spray were bitten a lot.
Praying everyone gets better soon and stays healthy.

Many reports of large numbers of people getting ill with this right now.
Especially hard on babies born to mothers who are sick.
While it hits healthy people it is harder on the elderly, sick and very young.
