His Hands 2014 Arrival

Checking in at the Fort Lauderdale airport shortly after 5 a.m. the team's morning started early.
They arrived right on time, shortly after 8 a.m. and about 30 minutes later joined us outside with all their luggage!

So we loaded into our truck and the Fauche 'ambulance' to head out to visit Pastor Rigo's church building project in Trou de Nord.
This area continues to grow in population secondary to a large factory and housing project built post-quake to provide thousands of jobs.

The building that the church rents for service not only heats up rapidly with it's tin walls but over 150-200 members cannot sit during service due to the limited space.
The new church building when complete should seat at least 2,000 people.

Then we returned to Cap Haitian for lunch. Hamburgers and fries taste great after not tasting any for months.

Made good time on the trip home arriving shortly after 2 p.m.

Unpacking, visiting and resting filled up the time until we enjoyed chicken rice casserole and fresh cane syrup cookies.

Yawns started before 7 p.m. along with the talks of bed.
We started a new movie my folks brought in as a special treat, being a school night.

Thanks for those who prayed for the team to be able to arrive on time despite the snow emergency the day before they left Michigan.

Please pray for their trip. Health and wellness. Lives impacted for the Lord's Kingdom. Great memories. And projects.
