July 16

The week of home ministry training is now behind us. {Note that they have Anna's picture on the wall in the Global Partner's office}

The best part of the week [don't let the organizers know] for me without a doubt is listening to the stories of how the Lord's Kingdom is growing throughout the world. Story after story underlines how the Lord works during difficult and challenging situations. I find it almost hard to believe the I get to be a part of the wonderfully, exciting work worldwide. I'm part of an amazing family and team.

Tonight we will share a bit at the West Michigan District Camp meeting at Winding Creek camp grounds and have a chance met new people. Tomorrow morning Eli and Anna will share about Haiti with the Allegan Wesleyan Church along with my folks while Cory and I head to Voyage church.

Following those services as well as Todd's Sunday morning service we will all find our places in a motor home and head WEST. My folks, Todd's family and us will make tons of family memories by visiting a couple locations in South Dakota where we used to go on work teams on a couple of Indian reservations. Then we will continue on to Yellowstone.

I do not know if I'll blog while on the trip but will take a few pictures during the trip to share with you later. Please remember to pray for Haiti's Evangelical outreach this week. God Bless.

What an exciting trip for you guys! You must be so proud that the kids are big enough to tell a congregation about your work all on their own now. I will be praying for you from Texas.

So far we're having lots of fun. Eli and Anna talked to a few children during children's church. They talk great one on one with adults but not ready for a full service yet. Thanks for the prayers!
