Friday update
Kris was able to call her parents in Michigan tonight. I still can't call anyone. Here is most of the report I received: She sounds ok, but tired. The group who she has been working with are leaving tomorrow and then she will be the only missionary dr. at the hospital. She said it is so hard...mostly she wrote scripts, translated..and also that if a lot of the patients she is seeing don't get surgery for amputation soon they will die. Said maybe when more doctors come in that she will be able to go home... She hopes to join with the group from LaGonave if they have set up in Port. Otherwise she will continue at the diquini hospital..she said over 40,000 people are camped there. Sounds like today was really overwhelming. She hopes to get to visit a church with some people she knows Sunday.

Correction for your next one-the college campus has 40,000 don't have a guess how many in the hospital yard but hundreds. Ask folks to pray that the phones start working, for me to connect with Wes. and for Mme. F. If I don't connect don't know how long I can stay here-more help at Diquine now-will try to get on line again tomorrow if I can use a compture. NEED SURGERY,surgeons, othoped, supplies or tens of thousands will die. HOpe your on Sonlight now and then. Love me.
