First. I wait for news of a second cousin's induction. Today my mom's family is supposed to add a new member and a new generation. We pray and wait. Twelve hours after she was due to be admitted to the hospital-still no news.
Second, we wait for news that Chris and Kathleen have tickets. This process is now I think in the second week and 4/5/6? date for arrival. I have lost track. There are few flights into Cap Haitian. And few seats on the planes that do land...so if you check in the morning for seats they may not be available in the afternoon. Still waiting....
Cory got tired of waiting for the right plumbing parts to be found and decided they would just go ahead and 'make do' with the parts that were on hand. From what I heard-it looks like it will work.
There wasn't room for our cargo on yesterday's MFI flight so Cory is set to go to Cap Haitian and get part of the cargo. Wasn't enough room on the plane for all of our stuff [but we have 334 pounds coming] I'm hoping that Eli's grammar book made the flight while he hopes we'll be waiting longer.
Still waiting for a good soaking rain.
Waiting for news on how the medical meeting went with the medical director. I had helped out in clinic in the morning/afternoon as I had been asked but I didn't realize that I was also expected to attend the meeting. So I gave Pastor Rigo a choice-I could attend yesterday afternoon's meeting or help with clinic today. I didn't attend the meeting.
Lord willing we'll hear more later....waiting......not so patiently but waiting. But if the rain comes in will need to turn off the Internet..... waiting.

It appears that God might be trying to teach us a similar lesson..waiting has become a favorite pastime of ours. Okay maybe not a "favorite." But God is in control we know! You are in our prayers! We are so excited to finally have tickets!!

Waiting-Cory is waiting for the cargo plane.
Word on the medical meeting is that the Medical Director isn't pleased and that there is to be a meeting tomorrow at an government office about his job. Please pray for the clinic leadership.
