3 August Quiz Answers from the blog on July 23

We had a nice day yesterday. Walked down to church without my camera. Sorry. Twelve young people [guessing in their 20's] were accepted into the church as new members. Two other's were named who were not present. The sermon was about using our time here on earth to advance the kingdom of God. How often we have time for a lot of other things but not God.

Today I helped out in clinic. I took vital signs for the first half hour for the intern. Then I saw 10 patients. We were out of lab reporting slips so the lab technician and hospital administrator wrote out the results by hand.

Cory has spent the day helping the kids with school and getting an E-mail update ready to send. Hope you receive it soon.

Answers to the Quiz

Who: Dr. Marilyn Hunter was a friend of my folks before moving to Haiti as a career missionary. She remains a close family friend. Our supporters know us through family, friends, churches, trips to Haiti, Sonlight, and word of mouth.

What: Our goal is thorough medical, agricultural and spiritual education to help our Haitian brothers and sisters to reach others for the Lord. Our school is START Academy-Striving To Achieve Remarkable Things.

Where: Our Home Ministry base is in Allegan, Michigan. After 9 years on LaGonave we now live in Fauche, Northern Haiti.

Why: As a child Kris felt called to return to Haiti as a medical missionary. A strong support team provides financial backing for our ministry as well as prayer protection, strength and advancing the work.
