23 Jan. 09

Rain gauge had 2.6 inches of rain it in this morning. Looks like we will have a second rainy day in a row. Yesterday it rained on and off all day. Since November's rainy days when the team was here, Cory has been waiting for a rainy day to tackle office work..but yesterday he needed to go to the bank, shopping, and pick up mail/cargo.

School continues to go well for us. Here is Eli learning about cohesion and adhesion with bubble science. Anna likes to try his experiments as well.

Cory has run into a snag with the banana plants but he was happy to get seeds in the mail from Malaysia. Three different types but the one type may not be viable-the seeds were cracked during shipping. Must need stronger bubble wrap.

Only five days till the team and grandparents arrive. Three big boxes came yesterday from the folks. Need to sort some of the stuff and get the boxes out of the kitchen. Started to play Christmas music again to get in the mood-as we celebrate with my folks when they come.

100 pieces Anna wanted you to know.

The can of Moringa seeds was left outside for the last couple of days. Since we found it with a few inches of rainwater yesterday we will be planting many Moringa tree seeds today and tomorrow. We were getting low on seeds and don't want to waste these.
