Well we didn't have anything really planned for the beginning of this week but plans can change rapidly. Early afternoon we opened an E-mail and found out that friends who carpooled with us last year to the International school had decided last week to move to the States.
So I finished up seeing patients-reporting labs and writing for medications. Then we went down the road to see if we could help with the garage/moving sale. The last two afternoons we have helped a bit with the sale, kept their kids [7, 4 years old] busy, and encouraged them.
Another way to help both them and us is to purchase some of their things. So we were able to get a kitchen island, table, lots of DVD's, some tools, plastic pots for plants, books, and odds and ends. We also were given their pet kitten, Rose.
Don't know how the kitten will work but.... We will visit again on Friday to see if we can help and say our good-byes. They have lived the whole eight years of their married life here in Haiti after meeting here. We know that the Lord will continue to use them and bless them. We didn't visit them much but it was nice to know they were down the road if we needed help-we will miss them.
