Dec. 29

Last three days of the year and no big plans.

Saturday Cory worked to put together some poster frames for the House of Hope. Now he needs to purchase some thick plastic wrap and we will assemble the Haitian posters we have and put them up.

After that Cory had fun walking around the compound and drawing a rough map of the trees he has planted. We are planning to put together a book that contains information about the various trees and plants along with the map. This will help visitors to learn more about the agricultural work.

The kids are ready to return to school after a 5 day break. Toys have been played with, some time with books, and a family game of Scrabble played. We will have school the beginning of this week and then a four day weekend. Their Haitian friends don't have school so they have to wait for Eli and Anna to come out to play.

We made it for most of Sunday school yesterday and the lesson was on having a content heart with God's help despite all the problems of this life. The church sermon was on what we can do for the Lord to thank Him for all He has done for us. Our new doctor was presented to the congregation but I still didn't catch his name.
