REquip

Jungle room at Shenum
Anna enjoyed her time in Washington D.C. for the Values and Capitalism Conference.  She learned a lot and had some fun experiences.

We drove down to Indiana on Saturday and were just pulling up to the airport when Anna texted that she was walking out the door.

She went to Indiana Wesleyan University to connect with the other missionary child care workers while we spent the night with our friends at the Shunem house.

Sunday morning we went to share with our friends at Seymour Wesleyan.

We all enjoyed the potluck and Fritz was given a ride in a police car.

Then we went to IWU for our week of REquip training. 30 Global Partner's missionaries attended and 14 children.

We all looked backward over our last terms and forward to partnership development [for most] and the next term.

Even the children's program focused on living overseas, saying good-byes, and other life skills that can help us focus on the Lord and thrive in the lives He's called us to.

Fun moments included: ice cream social, pizza pool party at Shunem; canoeing; visiting with friends; and a short visit with Dr. Marilyn.

After REquip the Haiti leadership team met for four hours before we headed back to Michigan. Then we quickly repacked for an overnight at Cory's folk's cottage. We forgot to take pictures but trust us we had fun.

Sunday we shared for the last time for this summer to the ABC group at Kentwood Community Church. Then we returned Anna to Beechpoint Camp.

This week: buy and pack for Haiti; mail calendars; Newsletter; continue on Konsey book; celebrate 4th of July; pack for a week long trip out West with Kris' family.
