Pre and post Easter.

Great child care workers
Second largest live Oak in Florida
Nine full days since our last blog.

Monday was the last day of team meetings, an afternoon of fun and hiking and then the good-byes started as some would be leaving in the early morning hours.

Tuesday morning we packed up and continued with the good-byes.

Some folks we will see in June, others later in the year, but the hard ones are those who are transitioning and we do not know when we will meet again.

Then we flew back to Michigan.
First library card
Wednesday we rested, did laundry, and office work. Thursday more of the same and Fritzlin had his first American doctor visit. He passed the 4 foot mark by 2 inches, added pounds to his weight since being in the USA, and only endured two shots.

He also checked out books on his very own library card!

Thursday night the college kids started their Easter weekend and we enjoyed supper together.

Henna with Anna
The best part of Friday was worshiping with my folks and all our children.

Saturday we all pitched in to help cook for the 17 family members to come for Easter Sunday lunch.

Sunday we worshiped at my brother's church celebrating our Savior's Resurrection, returning to the folks house for lunch: ham, potato salad, baked apples, green beans, corn casserole, rolls, pies, and birthday cake.

Monday: a bit of office work, lunch with the college kids and Cory's folks, a spring walk/bike ride.
Orlando Airport

Tuesday: School and office work, working on an update for our support team and on our pre-deployment check list.  [Share your email if you would like to receive updates and didn't]

Wednesday:  School, Kris went to her mom's Bible study, and helped Anna out with a summer conference application.  Cory and I each completed our Wellness assessments that we need to be approved for our next term in Haiti.
