CHE, Apples and Haiti Visit

Lowell Adams giving us a quick overview of the CHE program
Last Friday we visited Kentwood Community Church's Community Health Evangelism class. It is a 2 weekend course.

We  were invited to come so we could talk with a few of the attendees, including a couple working with moringa in Mozambique.

The CHE results on LaGonave have been impressive in terms of disease prevention through education and building latrines and also the number of people accepting Jesus as savior for the first time.

Fun at Uncle Todd's church's chili cook-off
We shared about the work in Haiti at Pathway Wesleyan, Saranac MI on Sunday and enjoyed their potluck after the service, sorry we didn't get any pictures.

The 33 apple varieties arrived Thursday.

They look like strong trees and fit well in my carry on. I hope to start planting them Saturday.

I, Cory plan to return to Michigan on Thursday.

Back in Michigan, Kris will be picking up Eli and Anna after dropping me off to at the airport so that they can enjoy Spring break together.

No firm plans other than having fun and making family memories.

We've worked this week to line up some additional church visits and Fritzlin did his school work.

 Thank you for your prayers.

{Added Sat. before posting. I drove in Michigan, in rain/snow from the airport to Calvin yesterday. Maybe the first time in over a decade that I drove during winter here.

Great getting to hang out with all 3 of my kids and then talking with the college ones after Fritz went to bed.

So blessed with our three blessings from the Lord.

Each one different, hand stitched together by our wonderful Creator.

Exciting to see the path He has for each of them.

Very thankful for this week, especially since Fritz and I were not allowed to return to Haiti at this time.
