Eli arrived back from Colorado at 12:15 a.m. on Saturday.
We picked him up at the Grand Rapids airport and headed north to Cory's family cottage for a short night's sleep and family get-together for lunch on Saturday.
After enjoying some time with Cory's family we headed south, picked up Kris's folks and then her brother's family and continued south to Ohio.
After a restful night we continued on to Pigeon Forge. Our first full day we visted Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountain National Park.
Then after supper we headed to Gatlinburg.
A lot like a county fair but covering many blocks of one street.
Today we headed down to North Carolina. Wonderful views from the mountains and twisty roads. We saw a mother bear and her cub yesterday and today, tukeys and a few elk, one with a very big rack of antlers.
Most of today we spent playing in a cool mountain stream playing "bumper cars" with rocks as we floated our way down on inner tubs. Thankfully the sun warmed us up.
Tomorrow we head to Dollyworld! Anna only found out today that it was an amusment park and not just a place to watch people sing.
Enjoying time with family but wish F were with us.
