About Us.

Global Partners Missionaries. GP. Partner with WISH WISH on LaGonave.

Ministry Goal: "for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ." Eph. 4:12 Support

Equipping the Saints: Through education-agricultural, medical, and spiritual -Haitian Christians can better touch others for Christ. One improved life impacts many lives in one's family and community. We hope to strengthen the faithful and draw others to the Lord by meeting needs.

For Work of Service: Striving to upgrade food and medical resources, we attempt to improve the health of the Haitian people. Healthy people serve better, opening doors for others to see God's love and received freedom.

Building up the Body of Christ: We host teams, who come to encourage, pray, work and partner locally. We share global prayer requests, and the Haitian church shares in building up His believers.

Cory: Degree in horticulture [fruit trees] from Michigan State, after two years at Cornerstone University.  Intern at Educational Concerns for Hunger Organization, ECHO. Primary corresponder with our support team and the world but her dyslexia means Cory handles the editing on the bigger projects. Kris enjoys learning more about TCK's not only because 3/4 of the family qualify but because as a unique people group they are very interesting.  Lover of reading and music of many types.

START: Our school name. Striving TAchieve Remarkable Things. Curriculum is primarily Sonlight Sonlight with some extras. Kris enjoys the Sonlight forums where she learns about homeschooling and the world. Good on-line friends around the world.

Kodiak-pet cat. Source of giggles and smiles.

At our second location in Haiti. First 9 years [9/11/98] spent on LaGonave on the same compound Kris lived for two years as a child. Most of our ministry focused at the Wesleyan Hospital. Moringa and Date palm projects though WISH.  Now our main focus is agriculture. The agricultural work continues on LaGonave through Cory's main gardener. The nurses Kris taught and medical protocals continue to serve at the hospital on LaGonave. Caribe Atlantic Area

Moved North at request of the Wesleyan church [8/15/07]. Fauche is about 30 minutes off Route National 1. A scattering of small homes under trees and near a river that runs into the Atlantic about 40 minutes down the dirt road. The Wesleyan campus also houses a school [pre-school up through high school] 500+ students strong, a medical clinic and small 6 bed hospital, the Fauche Wesleyan church, Northern guest house, office of the Northern district, a Compassion International Child Surviver project and Cory's gardens. For Haiti we live in an area with above average rainfall.

Other projects- supporting 4  Kid's Clubs, Fauche video outreach.

This is the post I've been longing for.

Thank you so much for taking the time to thoroughly introduce yourself and your family!

There is a way to set up a new page on blogger, and you should read up on it, and use this as your About page.

If I remembered how I did mine, I'd tell you. But you'll need to go into your Design section, if I remember correctly, to add a page to your template. You should totally do that, though, because this post IS your About page!

Sorry I can be a bit slow on these things and sometimes takes a push. I intended to try to find out about how to make a new page so thanks for the help Susan. Had to wait for a thunderstorm to pass by this afternoon-always unplug everything.

Think I have it now. Thanks for the encouragement!

Congratulations on writing an informative "about us" page, Kris! It helps me understand more fully who you guys are, even though I've already read your blog a couple of times.

I finally made time to make a page for myself on my blog as well.
