21 Dec. 09

A cool and rainy day helped it to 'feel like Christmas' a bit today.

The kids and I did school today as we will tomorrow while waiting for the others to return from Cap Haitian. Kathleen's parents are coming for a week's visit over Christmas. Please pray that they have a good trip.

Cory had an office day working on paper work-not his favorite job.

Clinic was slow because of the rainy weather-I saw 4 ladies including my first Wesleyan smoker. She was advised to give up the habit.

Pastor Rigo is having a hard time with the nurse who supports the doctor who left and is now practicing across the road. He is also getting married on Friday. Please continue to pray for him.

Tomorrow while the others are shopping we'll do a bit of cooking. We've invited Pastor Emmanuel and family to lunch on Wednesday so plan on some American food- potpie, tuna salad, jello and oatmeal cake.

To great Kathleen's folks [and because they're planning on hamburgers for lunch] we will have a Haitian meal for supper tomorrow. Rice and beans with vegetable sauce and fried cooking bananas. The kids and I will have our hamburgers then.

Picture was the good bye to our last Guinea Pig. He is now living with one of Cory's workmen. He was lonely and went to live with family.

Rose is more fun. When there was more trouble and bickering about who was going to pick grass for the G. Pig, bring him in and out we decided that the kids had out grown him.

GIves us a bit more room in the school room too which is nice.

The burgers were good!
