28th Nov.

We are enjoying a visit from the Doans and their granddaughter. Dick took us to LaGonave when we moved there back in 1998. They were our landlords for the first three years as they were directors of WISH.

They came from LaGonave on Friday to spend the weekend visiting the North. Didn't think much of Route National One but we're glad they came for a visit despite the bumpy roads.

Today we drove to 4VEH radio station to enjoy GREAT food and fellowship with other missionaries in the area. While it is only an hours drive we visit rarely-I think this was only our second visit in 2009.

We enjoyed catching up with the families we know and meeting a few new folks.

One of the dishes we brought to share was fresh Moringa leaves-complete with a little sign. Eli brought along a small tree in a cup, small packages of seeds and some handouts in both English and French. He had a good time educating a few of the folks.

Tomorrow I think is a non-travel day. Will attend Fauche church here on the compound and just enjoy the day.
