He called yesterday afternoon and already had the truck paperwork done and in his hands, and had done some shopping. Today he will remain in Port doing more shopping. We had a warning about protests in Port from the USA embassy but when I looked again the date was for Monday although it said Wednesday.
Thursday he will leave Port, stop at the Wesleyan boat dock to met the Wesleyana [mission boat] coming to the mainland for fuel and bringing over some of the date palms that Cory wants to bring up North.
We had an nice uneventful day. School went better than Monday. Chris and I saw 2 people in clinic. Checked some supplies in storage, sorted out some expired stuff and found a box of children's books that I give out to the kids.
One of the pastor's daughter's who is under 2 years old fell and hurt her wrist. I'm guessing that she may have a green stick fracture. We don't have many supplies and can't X-ray it here. But Eli cut a old ruler in half and I found a small elastic bandage and we splinted it. Will be interesting to see if she kept in on and if they can take her for an X-ray.
Today we plan to do school. Hopefully get Chris and Kathleen lined up for Creole lessons. Water the new bananas.... have a great day.
