14th July. Cory's trip to Cap Haitian

First let me tell you what the fruit was in the last post------Miracle Fruit. Thanks Lyric and Dan for the good guess.

While the kids and I remained home and did school, Cory headed for Cap Haitian shortly after 8 a.m.

We had asked MFI flights to put on the boxes we had shipped from Michigan as well as some other cargo that had been shipped directly to Florida. They had also found a large bag of magazines and mail from the last couple of months. When cargo is sent Cory needs to be at the airport to met the plane and clear the items through customs.

Cory also had a long list of items for us as well as for the Dearest house. He had decided that they could use a 'spare' toilet tank in the Dearest house. He has plans to work on the plumbing soon. He did find a burner stove but was unable to find a small refrigerator. He is thinking that it would be easiest and cheapest to just have one shipped from the USA.

We had a good day at school. Last night we finished our first 'read-out loud book' for Anna's core-a whole week early. We had a short sprinkle of rain again last night. Day time highs are in the lower 90's while night time lows are in the high 70's.

They might want to consider renaming the fruit....Unless it's a miracle that they taste like Jelly Beans...
Way to go on the school work!
