13th July One week back.

Saturday was a day of odd jobs. Not much to report. But we did hear from Chris and Kathleen that they have raise all their needed financial support and will be looking at tickets for the first week of August! So during the next three weeks we will be preparing the Dearest house, doing some shopping for them and corresponding by E-mails to help them prepare for their Haiti adventure.

Cory planted more bamboo from seeds.

Sunday we were prepared [having asked the Pastor] to walk down to church at 10 a.m. We knew we had to bring our own chairs as the men from the Missionary Men's Conference would also be attending. Well the music drifted up the hill at 9: 30 so we quickly gathered our things and headed to church.

We ended up outside the door-which was nice for the slight breeze but we had to keep moving to stay in the shade. You'll notice that the man in the picture was nice enough to turn his chair sideways so that he could share it with the little gal next to him who came late.

We had a bit of rain last night. We enjoyed government electricity over the weekend. Now to focus on school, watering the plants, shopping list for Cory tomorrow, and clinic.
Who knows what this fruit is?
