March 24, 2009

Still raining. Our rain started Saterday afternoon and continues. Had a bit of sun on Sunday and Monday but not much-just enough yesterday for me to put sheets on the line and then a mad dash to get them down again. Over 14 inches of rain-need to find a way to send some of this water to other parts of Haiti.

But the up side is that we had a good day at school. I did go down to clinic but there were only 4-5 patients and already 2 doctors so I returned to school. Cory had an office day and worked on printing hundreds of newsletters so that they can go in the mail on Thursday.

Also this weather is good for the nine new fruit trees from Puerto Rico. We're expected the third order of banana plants from the USA on Thursday.

Bouganvellia and a damaged hibiscus.

Beautiful flowers. Love to visit here daily to see what is happening. Thanks so much for keeping us "in the loop" and in your lives. Your friends at West Berlin regularly think of you, talk about you and pray for all of you.

Thanks for the note of encouragement and for the prayers. Hope we get to visit when we're in the States in May and June. Thanks for being faithful partners with us in Haiti. Thedes
