January 1st and 2nd are the biggest holidays in Haiti. So lots of people are traveling, lots of noise and lots of food. For Haiti parties mean eating more meat. So we have beef in the refrigerator again.
Yesterday we didn't do much. A bit of cleaning, planted 100 Moringa tree seeds, some videos, processed the beef, and did some E-mails. Cory had a visit from a Agriculturalist and they talked for a while about plants, trees, diseases and problems.
We did stay up to see in the new year. We had brownies and watched some new DVD's. Then we tried to find a countdown on-line to watch Time Square but couldn't find a good site. So we counted on our own, wished each other Happy New Years and went off to bed.
Today we plan to plant more tree seeds, watch more videos and have some family fun.
Happy New Year. May the Lord continue to use each of you and bless you in 2009.
