Dec. 1

The sun is setting on the day. My thoughts were in Michigan a lot as I knew that my brother Todd was conducting Grandma TerAvest's home going celebration. We know that she loved the Lord and is happy.

Clinic saw over 40 patients on our first day of the 'one price' deal of a consultation, labs and medications for only $50 Haitian or about 6.25 US. We were had three doctors as Dr. Ann a Wesleyan preacher's child helped out.

After a while the student nurses only brought me children so I think I get to be the pediatrician. I don't know if it is that the other doctors prefer adults or that I have the Creole children books. I was able to get some school in with our kids while waiting for labs.

Cory also ended up helping clinic as Pastor Rigo came up about noon saying that the generator wasn't working and with the crowd waiting for labs could they use our small personal generator. Cory when down with the generator and also looked at the clinic generator. They were able to get it running and used ours to run a video about HIV for those waiting for lab results.

Eli has a fever and isn't feeling well but Anna is having fun with the big bright caterpillars off the trees. We are still working on getting back into the swing of school.

That's a wonderful picture of Anna with the catapillars. Have a great day.

She is teaching the kids not to be afraid. I missed the photo of her showing the kids the teeth of a puppy. It was funny to see them react. Dogs here are not really pets but just fend for themselves.
