Ohio, Iowa and plans for more travel..

Pastor Kip's train set.
Our trip to Ohio went very well despite driving through hard rain a few times.

We enjoyed our short visit. We shared for a few minutes at the end of each of the three services at Holy Cross Lutheran, and longer during adult Sunday School class. Folks who've we've met on past medical teams brought in  a tasty lunch which we shared together.

This week we put in a lot of time on editing the Konsey book and working on getting the AMP calendar just right so we could order them.

Thursday we spent some time with Cory's folks.

The most exciting thing that occurred this week is that we were granted provisional clearance and were allowed to purchase our tickets to return to Haiti.

Lord willing we will leave Michigan on July 16th; fly into Haiti on the morning of the 17th for a day of shopping; and on the morning of the 18th head up the mountain to home.

So the countdown begins: final to-do lists, shopping lists, starting of packing and organizing to leave. Next week Fritzlin will attend day camp at Beechpoint where Anna will be enjoying the first week of camp with campers.

But first we head out to Iowa tomorrow, so we can share with Living Hope Wesleyan Church in Cedar Rapids.

Our prayers remain with Eli as he continues to look for a job with his mechanical engineering degree.

Old toys that Cory played with back in the day.
Prayers as well for Haiti as massive protests are called for again this weekend to shut down the country.
