Spring and paperwork.

The last couple of weeks we had thought we would be helping with a week of medical clinics in northern Haiti, brining a load of plants back up to Délice and preparing to travel to the USA for area retreat and our partnership developement time.

Instead we worked on lining up church visits, appointments for our next term's pre-departure check list, Fritz's school, on-line meetings, and connecting with partners.

Our recent three church visits went well. The Sunday night service was a great review of our Haiti ministry in a church that Kris' grandfather grew up in. Her great aunt and other family also came to hear us share.

With spring coming to Michigan we're starting to enjoy being outside more.

We visited friends to see their puppies and lambs; Fritz has been picking up sticks from the yard and some trash down by the road in addition to bike riding.

Next week we head toward warmer weather in FL for our area retreat with our teammates from Haiti and South America.

Cory talked to Gener on the phone this week and he reports that the Fauche area continues to suffer from drought.

They lost trees and crops to a drought last summer and this should be a time of good rains. Please pray.

At Delice the rains have started. Pastor Clother was there Thursday and thought the plants were growing well, especially the tomatoes and cabbage. We are planting squash on a large scale.

April 7 we visit Lakeside Community Church near Muskegon, 9am service
