Internation Passport and Passport IV

We made it through a busy week of orientation with Anna.

Not that we saw her much, but a few minutes here and there.

The entering class is 16% international students and about 120-130 spent the last 6 days transitioning together.

We spent time with the parents, other than Monday morning when we worked on applying for Fritzlin's American passport.

We remain very thankful and blessed that our college students can learn and grow in a strong Christian environment, surrounded with people ready to help them learn what it will mean personally for them to 'Think Deeply, Act Justly, Live Wholeheartedly, as Christ's agents of renewal in the world'

Anna told us yesterday that she knew 100 names of international students. Yesterday the last group of incoming freshmen joined the internationals to participate in Passport IV orientation.

We did join her for her first academic faculty advising meeting.

She changed up a couple classes as she starts out aiming at International Relations / Economics double major and exploring the direction of pre-law.

We are exciting to see how the Lord changes and uses her this year.

Tomorrow we will be moving Eli to his apartment. We warned him that he will be hearing 'You're Anna's brother' a lot!

This afternoon we will go with both Eli and Fritzlin to see Anna's room, experience opening convocation and the all campus cook-out.

Meijer shopping outing
Sunday we will have a few minutes to share in the morning services at Lifestream Wesleyan church in Allendale, MI.

Shopping with close to 200 people is an experience.
