Cottage and WI

We spent two days with Cory's family at their family cottage last week, yet sadly we did not get one picture of all the cousins together who were present.

Fishing, swimming, eating, talking, star gazing....fun for all.

The second day the foster family who Fritzlin lived with for 2.5 years at COTP joined us for a fun afternoon. We are so very thankful that they remain connected with Fritzlin and us and for all the love they poured into his life.

Friday we packed up for the weekend and enjoyed a few hours with Eli who completed another challenging week as cabin leader at Beech Point.

Saturday morning we had family breakfast together before we headed West.

Saturday and most of Monday we put in many hours of family time in the car as we traveled to northern Wisconsin to visit The River Church.

Very thankful for Bill and Elaine who hosted us and could meet Fritzlin.

We shared at all three of the services at The River Church with a great potluck in the afternoon and a boat ride.

We are thankful for the great fellowship, good questions, many new prayer partners and getting to see Brittany who is preparing to return in the Fall to teach the Global Partners missionary kids on LaGonave.

The trip back to Michigan took longer as we included some shopping for beef jerky [Minong is home of Jack Links], cheese, and explored the Crystal Cave.

Family time, working on newsletter and other office stuff this week while we prepare to head out east.

Pennsylvania and New York for 13 days- 9 times of sharing with churches/groups; 3 planned visits with friends; a couple of family only days, andexperiencing Refresh at Houghton College for 2.5 days.
