I hope you dance

I raised my children listening to Lee Ann Womack's "I hope you Dance" and I know it is on their song lists.

A few of the lines read "Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance         I hope you dance"

I never dreamed that Eli would take it quit so literally.

This weekend he will be performing in Calvin's "Rangeela: Yours, Mine, Ours" is an international cultural showcase featuring 13 acts of skits, dances, music and more.

This is one Calvin performance you don’t want to miss!"

I am greatly missing Eli and wish we could attend to encourage him and enjoy the show.

We are thankful to be able to see some short video's of practices and hope to have enough bandwidth to tune in on Friday or Saturday.
We hope to be able to watch the whole show when Eli gets a disk sometime this spring.

You can too.."Tune in LIVE to the broadcast of Rangeela this Friday and Saturday, February 23 and 24, at 8 p.m. EST. "

He will be performing in the Middle East dance. He's easy to spot due to his height.

Middle East because it included more countries and he didn't know much about the area.

We are very proud of Eli and the man he has become.

We're proud of him stepping way out of his comfort zone and joining in this celebration of diversity.

We also enjoy and celebrate Anna today as she continues to sing and dance her way through life, starting her 17th year.

As she heads toward graduation, we remain very proud of her.

She's looking forward to joining Eli as an international student at Calvin.

I am considering removing Garth Brooke's song 'Standing Outside the Fire' from her song list..."Standing outside the fire      Life is not tried, it is merely survived  If you're standing outside the fire "

One cannot be too careful, especially with a second-born, spunky, adventuresome, energetic, warrior, barefoot princess cute intellect, who thinks & debates like a lawyer and   who's ready to change the world.

Don't say we didn't warn you!

Congratulations to Eli for stepping outside of his comfort zone. Always hard, but it pays off.

I have one of those spunky argumentative lawyer thinking second born daughters - hope that Anna has a great time at Calvin.
