We spent a quiet weekend doing laundry, as I studied and Cory prepared for his Costa Rica trip.
Sunday the ladies of the church decorated in white and gold for a special service.
Today Cory will drive to Port-au-Prince picking up a friend on the way who will go with him on the trip. They fly out tonight at 6:30 to Panama and then on to Costa Rica.
Monday they will return to Haiti and Cory will overnight at Tom's, meeting up with a group on Tuesday morning to head back home and show them his gardens and ministry. They will join us for lunch.
Eli will be in charge of electrical and water supplies this week while the three of us work on our studies.
Three weeks and one day before my family practice board exam.
Yesterday the electrical short between us and the school was located-someone very carefully tapped into the line behind the Dearest house for the neighbors across the path.
Waiting to hear if a police report got filed.
My kids were instructed if I get depressed and unmotivated to feed me chocolate and turn up the praise music.
Also NO pranks until Dad returns or risk being put in isolation for the duration.
[Last week's tree damage.]
