Tuesday February 7th. End of week one.

End of Week One for the team. Tuesday February 7th

Today we hugged Heidi good bye as she flew back to Port-au-Prince to resume her work with Dan and Joy Irvine.

We enjoyed her visit and feel she has a more complete view of the Wesleyan ministry in Haiti after visiting a small part of Northern Haiti.

By listening to her updates about the missionaries and ministries on LaGonave and other parts of Haiti we can now pray better for the rest of the team as well.

Following breakfast the guys returned to making sawdust and church benches.

Thankfully the saw continues to run very well
as it broke back in June when my brother's Todd's team visited.

The Haitian electrician fixed it once Cory located and purchased the needed part.

Our students studied with their respective mothers. Mom and Mom Thede painted a delivery table to try to extend its live a bit longer.

The metal table is rusting away under the paint. The gazebo wall received a second coat of paint.
Bits and pieces of school fit in the schedule here and there during the morning.

In the afternoon the ladies continued on the big job of scraping paint down at clinic and Genia painted the ceiling in the small room where vital signs and the first part of patient histories are taken.

Two loads of laundry completed as well.

Cory continues to print copies of our newsletter in between other jobs and commitments.

He also set up a trip to Pigion later this month to speak at an agricultural training seminar.
