Back in MIchigan

Through the rain we made our way back to Michigan today, thankful for the many, many miles traveled safely.
Family- so very privileged to have supportive families on both sides. I know enough sad stories not to take any of our family members for granted.

Yesterday we spent some time at the Omaha Zoo- what marvelous animals the Lord made for our education and enjoyment.

Hard to believe but next month we plan to be back home in Haiti. The next two weeks will be spent connecting with our support team, working on our office / paper work needed to return to Haiti, doing some shopping and continued family time. Then we head out east for almost a week-again connecting with our support team, followed by packing and good-byes.

Thank you for your prayers. Reports from Fauche-everyone including our cat, Kodiak is well. The generator continues to have issues and the news is reporting continuing increase of the cholera cases and growing unhappiness with the lack of change with the new president and government.

Enjoy the reprieve. Sorry to hear about the cholera in Haiti. Nasty killer, that one.
