The team has lots of different emotions at this point. Realizing the the trip, which some had planned for many months, was now just about over. Time to switch our thoughts to going home, being with family, warm showers and dry sheets(the sheets here feel cool,damp most of the time).
When Pastor Rigo, the hospital administrator, expressed his thanks to the team...we were the ones who felt grateful for the opportunities that we have had.
We will leave here around 6am tomorrow morning, so there will be some good-byes tonight. Pastor Rigo told us...If I don't see you again here..I will see you someday in heaven and I will say...I know your face from Fauche.
The unity in Christ's love that we have shared here has been something very special and Haiti will have a special place in all of our hearts. Good bye sweet country, good bye wonderful people...Kourage!
