Despite it being cold and rainy we had over 20 folks brave the weather to come to clinic. I saw 10 and was just ready to start sending my folks waiting for lab testing home when the lab person finally showed up. She had traveled from Cap Haitian and they had lots of rain.
We only had some drizzles this morning but steady, heavier drizzles this afternoon. Interesting-last night before bed I was cold as were others-blankets and socks a must. But in the middle of the night I was hot-while I argued with myself that I WASN'T old enough for hot flashes, Cory got up and asked if he had a fever because he too was hot and had a headache.
Nope-we figure that in the middle of the night that some tiny little heat wave passed over the compound because at lunch all us American's noted that while it was cool when we went to bed we were awaken in the middle of the night, hot. But by morning it was cool again and has continued to drop --currently at 5:30 p.m. it is 66 degrees. Cold by tropical standards.
No rainy or snow days at START academy. A good day of school as Eli winds down WWII and Anna learns about WWI.

Pretty purple plant.
Maybe that was a foretaste of what is to come for you? Sorry! I know that getting older has some drawbacks. I would tell you all about it but I can't remember. ;-)
You all continue to be in our prayers. God Bless!
ha ha. I'm privileged to have friends like you who I know will lead the way as I age!
