Dec. 16

Happy Birthday Tim.

We had a good school day. Started out with a cool rain so Cory was able to get some office work off his to-do list. Clinics are down on rainy days so I wasn't surprised not to be called.

For the last couple of days someone has been trimming trees down just across the path over our back fence. But now and then there was another strange noise that we couldn't identify. It sounded like wheels spinning on ice. Well Cory found out what it is-they are putting up another cell tower on the ridge and were working on the road up to the site.

Today we could see people working on the ridge.
Cory has been researching on-line the different kinds of bamboo. Notice how many poles they have put up in preparation for the pouring of a cement roof on the new dorm/office building. He is hoping to be able to get some additional types of bamboo and plant them down in the ravine by the edge of the compound.

I have had my second English class. Today we had a class of eight and talked about families and US schooling. Topics for next week are Thanksgiving day and the universe! Should be interesting.
