Well our visitors got off yesterday. Other than a short business visit from Pastor Dan they were our first visitors from LaGonave and the first to stay in the House of Hope. Cory and Anna brought them to the airport and then did some shopping. One of the big items on the list was a couch.
We had some gift money from family that was only to be used for a couch. We had a small wooded one with thin cushion but it wasn't great for reading. But there are no furniture stores in Northern Haiti and would of been very costly to ship anything in from the USA.
So now and then when Cory was in Cap Haitian he would look at the docks. Items shipped into Haiti were sometimes out on the sidewalk for sale. So this is where he and Anna went yesterday. They were able to purchase a larger couch, a smaller one, 2 chairs and a small table. 
We now have the large couch and one chair in the living room.
The smaller couch and second chair are in the school room.
Now have more seating for visitors and locations for reading good books. When would you like to visit?
